If you feel full of energy, and you love working with kids, you can work in a volunteer programme where caring for children is a great way to make a direct impact on a community abroad by giving them the attention, love and support needed so they can be empowered towards a brighter future.
Nowadays, Argentina doesn´t have a welfare state which foster adequate social policies. In this context, childcare volunteer programs are designed to assist children from disadvantaged backgrounds, tutoring them at kindergartens, or in after-school projects. This program aims to break the circle of hereditary poverty, guaranteeing their access to quality educational opportunities, encouraging the development of children and families skills to help them improve their processes of social inclusion and autonomy.
Some of the volunteer tasks are: playing games with the children, organizing workshops, sports or cultural activities, and serving as positive role models and mentors for the children. You can feel confident that you will have a meaningful impact, while developing your global awareness and opening the minds of the children to new cultures and possibilities.
The project is available throughout the whole year.
